70th Citrus Bowl Game Set For New Year’s Day

The Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl will be played at 1:00 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. The game will be televised on ABC.

Tickets are available now through Florida Citrus Sports membership ticket packages. FCSports members have priority access to the best available seats, including the Orlando Citrus Bowl’s new sideline clubs other premium areas.

The nation’s seventh-longest running postseason bowl, will be in its 70th year in 2016 and its second under a new title sponsor. It has featured some of the great games and names in college football history and continues with its matchup that features premier teams from the Big Ten and SEC.  

This year’s game will be the second to be held in the reconstructed Orlando Citrus Bowl and the first since the facility reached 100% completion in early 2015. Game attendees will enjoy all of the amenities of the new stadium which include wider aisles, chair-back seats with more legroom in an all-new lower bowl. Club spaces, loge boxes and a 15,000-square-foot deck highlight a new plaza level that circles the entire stadium.  

Packages are available now. Tickets to both bowl games will go on sale for purchase by the general public in November.
