2023 Citrus Bowl Set For January 2 Kickoff
The game date and kickoff time for Orlando’s Citrus Bowl were announced on Thursday as part of ESPN’s 2022-23 college football schedule release.
The 2023 Citrus Bowl will kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 2 at Camping World Stadium. The matchup will pit the Big Ten Conference against the Southeastern Conference and will be televised on ABC.
The 77th edition of the game will be the seventh to fall on Jan. 2 and the fifth since the Citrus Bowl moved to its traditional New Year’s Day window at the end of the 1986-87 season:

In last season’s Citrus Bowl, No. 22 Kentucky beat the 15th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes 20-17. Wildcats wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson earned MVP honors with 10 catches for 170 yards, including a 52-yard catch with 2 minutes left to play to set up Kentucky’s game-winning touchdown.
